Montag is in the starting point of change in this section, he devises a plan with the Queen Bee, Professor Fable. At first, Montag wanted to talk about the books, the Bible. Fable refuses at first but Montag gets him to trust him. By trust , I mean, Montag starts to tear the pages out of the bible; only then does Fable join in and agree to teach Montag books. Again, it is revealed that Captain Beatty had read books, and knew all the answers. That Montag could be easily brought back to the 'another side' by Beatty; he needed Fable's help. It is revealed that Fable has a 'secret' room that he keeps things his makes in such as the following: fiddling with electronics, radio transmission, and creating a different kind of SeaShell Radio. One that listens back. Lastly ending this section, Fable agrees to read him to sleep and during; saying it retains knowledge if someone whispers it in your ear.
